Roots Bamboo has a prime location right on the stunning 7-mile beach in Negril, surrounded by great dining options. While the vibe is laid-back and the staff is mostly warm and welcoming, I did face several issues during my stay, like inconsistent service and some maintenance problems. The basic amenities were lacking, and it felt a bit overpriced for what I got. Overall, it’s an average resort that needs some improvements.

I had an incredible time at Roots Bamboo! The live reggae music and the atmosphere were absolutely unmatched, making it feel like I was part of a community. Although the restaurant was a bit pricey and the wait staff could be more welcoming, the experience overall was so vibrant. Just be careful with food allergies since they don’t modify the menu and the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty. All in all, it was a memorable stay.
